Local Guidelines & Services

The Town of Paradise requires all new Commercial development or remodeling projects to provide adequate enclosures for trash, recycling and compost containers. See the complete updated info on our Enclosure Standards page.

The State of California requires that qualifying construction and demolition projects reuse or divert & recycle at least 65% of the debris generated. You can get LEED credits for your green building project and save money with our source-separated recycling boxes. Find more information on our debris box service page.

Various separated materials such as clean yard waste,  wood,  drywall, and metal can be brought to the Town of Paradise Green Waste facility or Guido’s Recycling here at NRWS.

Concrete/asphalt boxes and mixed C&D waste is accepted at boxes can be hauled through our debris box service which provides you with proof of diversion for your reporting.

Habitat for Humanity of Butte County- ReStore offers new and gently used building materials and home improvement items at 50-90% off retail. Proceeds from ReStore help Habitat for Humanity build affordable homes for families in need in Butte County. Donations of like-new building materials for the houses, such as tile, toilets, sinks, wire, lighting and lumber are accepted. Drop off donations at ReStore, or call for pickup.
