Paint

Unwanted house paint, primer, stain, or varnish can be taken to the Butte County Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Both latex and oil-based products are accepted.

Products should be in their original containers with original labels. 5 gallon containers maximum and a maximum of 20 gallons per trip (unless otherwise noted).

Please note:

• Solidified latex paint may be dropped off at the Butte County Household Hazardous Waste Facility or disposed in your trash cart.
• Empty and dry paint cans and buckets should be recycled in your recycling cart.
