Electric weed eaters (corded) can be broken down into your landfill cart.
Rechargeable or battery powered units would be taken to the Butte County Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Gas powered units must have all fluids drained from them and if they are metal units they can be taken to to Guido’s Recycling and put in their scrap metal surrender box.
